Fall Tour 2017: Aiken

Join the South Carolina Historical Society in collaboration with the Aiken County Historical Museum this fall as we explore beautiful Aiken, S.C. Known for its railroad, equestrian heritage, and grand Winter Colony homes, this charming city offers a unique glimpse into the Antebellum and early-twentieth-century South. Our self-guided and self-paced tour gives guests leisurely access to sites such as Rose Hill, Sandhurst, Crossways, Adath Yeshurum Synagogue, Dibble Memorial Literary, Banksia (Aiken County Historical Museum Headquarters), and Hopeland Gardens. A barbecue lunch is included in the price of your ticket and will be held at the newly restored Gaston Livery Stable.
- Tickets are $85 for members and $100 for non-members. To receive tickets in the mail, they must be purchased by Thursday, October 19th. After this date, tickets can be picked up at the tour headquarters (433 Newberry St SW, Aiken, SC 29801) or purchased day of.
