The South Carolina Historical Society is a private, not-for-profit organization. Individual contributions are its lifeblood, without which, the society could not fulfill its mission. We invite you to become an active supporter of the society by joining Proprietors Council, or for our business partners, Business Council.

*The SCHS sponsors private tours of unique areas such as the Yawkey Wildlife Preserve and Auldbrass Plantation. These events are reserved for members who make significant donations to the society.

Membership fees of more than $25 are tax-deductible.
