Diaries and Drinks

Have you always wanted to read other peoples’ diaries? Join the South Carolina Historical Society in the historic Fireproof Building on Thursday, June 6th from 4:30pm-6:30pm for an exclusive exhibit of some of the most interesting diaries, journals, and personal writings found in our collections. Selections will include a letter book of Eliza Lucas Pinckney, the journal of Louis Manigault, John Henry Dick’s guest book, the 4th South Carolina Regiment order book, and more!

This is a ticketed, drop-in style event. Libations and light hors d’oeuvres will be offered. Click here to purchase your ticket!
